Outpatient Clinic

In the Psychotherapeutic Outpatient clinic of SFU Ljubljana we offer qualified psychotherapeutic treatments which are provided by experienced psychotherapists and teachers from different modalities as well as the students under supervision. One of the main pillars of the 5 year study programme of Psychotherapy science at SFU Ljubljana is the clinical (psychosocial and psychotherapeutic) practice with the aim to train the students to become proficient in psychotherapy work. The research work is also an important part of the activities of the Outpatient clinic.

We have different arrangements to work with people such as individual therapy, couple therapy, family therapy and group therapy, moreover our doors are wide open to all generations –children, youths, adults and elderly people.

The psychotherapy approaches/types of psychotherapy offered at the Outpatient clinic are:

  • Psychoanalysis,
  • Systemic-family therapy
  • Integrative psychotherapy,
  • Gestalt psychotherapy,
  • Psychodynamic psychotherapy,
  • Transactional analysis,
  • Relational family therapy,
  • Jungian psychoanalysis
  • Logo therapy,
  • Hypnosis psychotherapy,
  • EMDR,
  • etc.

Each patient is treated based on their individual problem, needs, wishes and social-economic status. Therefore, we offer different work approaches and it is possible to choose the best treatment depending on each patient’s condition.

Therapy is offered in Slovene, English, Croatian and Serbian language. Therapy sessions are scheduled every day between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm. The socio-economic status of each client is taken into account to determine the price per therapy session (see the price list), therefore the payment can sometimes be of symbolic nature or even free of charge.
